Hanul cu Tei is one of the few buildings in the old center of Bucharest which has retained its charm over time.
It was built in 1833 by Gheorghe Hagi Anastasie Polizu and Stefan Popovici, on Lipscani commercial center.
It is the only inn in Bucharest which has kept intact its original architecture.
Above the two access gates you can see the original emblem of those who build the inn (with markings AP and SP).
Today, the former inn is home to many art galleries and a restaurant.
Both access gates, wrought iron ornaments, and high windows, evoke the eighteenth century atmosphere.
Responsibility: sound installation.
